[origin: EP0532827A1] The shower cubicle has a shower tray (1) with a cubicle wall (2) adjoining the shower tray, which wall on the one hand bounds the shower compartment and on the other hand forms an access opening to the shower tray. To simplify the assembly and for the tight connection of the individual parts, provision is made for the shower tray (1) to have an uninterrupted rib (9) in the region of the cubicle wall (2). The cubicle wall (2) consists of at least one self-supporting wall part (2) which has a continuous groove (13), which is complementary to the rib (9), on the narrow side facing the shower tray (1). The shower tray (1) and the wall part (2) are fitted onto the rib (9) in the manner of a tongue-and-groove connection, the wall part (2) having on its upper narrow side an identical rib (9) to that of the shower tray (1). <IMAGE>
