Abstract (en)
A method and a device for sealing packages is specified, in which packages which are preferably in the form of bags are moved forwards between an upper belt (16) and a lower belt (12). The distance between the upper belt (16) and the lower belt (12) is adjusted to the height (h) of a package (18, 18%) by a slewing belt (14) which is rotatably connected to the upper belt (16) by means of its rear end (13), seen in the direction of transport, and which projects obliquely upwards from the upper belt (16) in the direction of incoming packages (18, 18%). The upper belt (16) and the slewing belt (14) are held for example in a suspended manner by spring elements (22, 24), so that both can escape upwards, when the slewing belt is horizontally aligned, by means of the slewing belt (14) which initially rests obliquely on the package (18, 18%), until the slewing belt (14) rests horizontally on the top of the package (18, 18%) and the upper belt (16) is therefore adjusted to the height of the package. <IMAGE>

Es werden ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Verschließen von Verpackungen angegeben, bei dem vorzugsweise beutelförmige Verpackungen zwischen einem Oberband (16) und einem Unterband (12) vorwärts bewegt werden. Der Abstand des Oberbandes (16) vom Unterband (12) wird auf die Höhe (h) einer Verpackung (18, 18') durch ein Schwenkband (14) eingestellt, das mit seinem, in Transportrichtung gesehen, hinteren Ende (13) mit dem Oberband (16) drehbweglich verbunden ist und das in Richtung auf ankommende Verpackungen (18, 18') schräg nach oben vom Oberband (16) vorsteht. Oberband (16) und Schwenkband (14) sind durch Federelemente (22, 24) etwa schwebend gehalten, so daß beide bei waagrechter Ausrichtung des Schwenkbandes durch das zunächst schräg an der Verpackung (18, 18') anliegende Schwenkband (14) nach oben ausweichen können, bis das Schwenkband (16) auf der Oberseite der Verpackung (18, 18') waagrecht aufliegt und damit das Oberband (16) auf die Verpackungshöhe eingestellt ist. <IMAGE>
