[origin: EP0533596A1] Machine making it possible to carry out continuously twisting and a complementary texturing treatment on a synthetic yarn. In such a machine: - the assembly comprising the means (6) for false-twist texturing treatment is arranged in a central part (2) of the stand of the machine, and the yarn feed means (7, 10) consist of deliverers of the positive type; - the two-for-one twisting spindle (3) and the winding assembly (5) are arranged one above the other and are offset relative to this central zone (2), and; - the guidance of the yarn (5) at the exit of the two-for-one twisting spindle (3) in order to bring it into the texturing treatment zone (6) and at the exit of the said texturing zone in order to bring it to the winding members (11) is obtained by means of an assembly (13) comprising, for each work station, a pair of yarn guides (15, 16) supported at the same level on the stand of the machine, substantially at half the height of the latter, one (15) being arranged in the extension of the two-for-one twisting spindle (3), and the other (16) being offset outwards and arranged substantially level with the outer surface of the volume generated by the yarn balloon of the two-for-one twisting spindle (3) <IMAGE>
