[origin: EP0533626A1] The cargo container, in particular air freight container, has a door opening which is bounded by lateral vertical posts (16), can be closed by a rigid or rollable container door which is fixed at one end, and can be locked in the closed position by means of a bolt which is arranged on a door bar or similar terminating profile (36) and can be inserted in mating elements on the container frame. In this case, the locking bolts (37) are rigidly connected to the door bar (36). At least one of the locking bolts (37) can be inserted in a corresponding catch recess (38) at the front of the container frame, and a locking tongue (46) is provided which is displaceable at the front over the insertion opening of the catch recess (38). <IMAGE>
