Abstract (en)
To obtain the automatic sewing of the toes of two stockings simultaneously, especially of pantyhoses, there is used a machine having horizontal turntable means for supporting the stockings (3) in pairs on two stocking-overturning tubes (1) which are parallel and which are equipped with sliding wings (10) for extracting the toe to be sewn, and comprising: - means (40, 41, 5) for blocking and for straightening and temporarily aligning the edge of the toes to be sewn; - means (7) for the toes of the stockings (3), with the edge thus straightened and aligned in a sewing plane (6), and for transferring it by sliding towards a sewing machine (8); - means for slipping off an adapted portion of stocking (3) from the stocking-overturning tubes (1) in order to assist the abovementioned transfer. <IMAGE>

Pour obtenir la couture automatique de la pointe du pied de deux bas simultanément, en particulier des collants, on utilise une machine avec des moyens à carrousel horizontal pour supporter les bas (3) par paire sur deux tubes à retourner les bas (1) parallèles et munis d'ailettes (10) coulissantes pour l'extraction de la pointe à coudre et comprenant: des moyens (40,41,5) pour bloquer et pour redresser et aligner provisoirement le bord des pointes à coudre; des moyens (7) pour les pointes des bas (3) avec le bord ainsi redressé et aligné sur un plan de couture (6) et pour le transférer, par glissement, vers une machine à coudre (8); des moyens pour désenfiler des tubes à retourner les bas (1) une portion de bas (3) adaptée pour assister le transfert précité. <IMAGE>
