[origin: EP0534067A2] The invention relates to a hydrostatic machine, especially an axial piston machine, having a casing whose interior accommodates a driving mechanism and comprises a leaked-oil chamber which receives leaked oil and is connected to the tank via a leaked-oil connection. In order to avoid splash losses of the hydrostatic machine, a pumping appliance (34; 50, 51; 50, 56) for stripping leaked oil from the leaked-oil chamber (29) is disposed between the leaked-oil connection (30) and the tank (9). <IMAGE>
