Abstract (en)
The present method permits processing of printed sheets or other printed articles which is free of errors to a very substantial extent as they are collated for the production of newspapers, journals or the like, by optical detection of a subdomain of a two-dimensional pixel area on one printed sheet provided for processing in each case, and by comparing the said subdomain with that of a reference printed sheet, the measurement of the difference resulting from the comparison being used as a signal to control, modify control of or interrupt processing of the printed sheets. <IMAGE>

Das vorliegende Verfahren gestattet eine weitestgehend fehlerfreie Verarbeitung von Druckbogen oder anderen Druckprodukten auf dem Weg des Zusammentragens für die Herstellung von Zeitungen, Zeitschriften oder dgl. durch optisches Erfassen eines Teilbereiches eines zweidimensionalen Pixelfeldes auf jeweils einem zur Verarbeitung vorgesehenen Druckbogen und durch Vergleichen dieses Teilbereichs mit demjenigen eines Referenzdruckbogens, wobei das Mass der Abweichung aus dem Vergleich als Signal zur Steuerung bzw. Steuerungsänderung oder zum Unterbruch der Verarbeitung der Druckbogen verwendet wird. <IMAGE>
