[origin: EP0534346A1] The invention relates to a vegetative noise-protection wall composed of a plurality of frame parts (1,1',1'',1''',14,14',18,19,25,27,27') which are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the wall. At least one of the longitudinally running, vertical delimiting surfaces of the noise-protection wall is composed of a plurality of steel or iron grid-type mats (6,6',6'',15,15',29,29'), in the form of a grid, which are fastened vertically between the frame parts (1,1',1'',1''',14,14',18,19,25,27,27'), the volume of the noise-protection wall enclosed by the frame parts (1,1',1'',1''',14,14',18,19,25,27,27') and that enclosed by the mats which have been fitted being filled with earth-type, stone-type or clay-type building materials or the like. The frame parts are formed from ladder-type profiles (1,1',1'',1''',14,14',18,19,25) (upright profiles) which are each composed of at least two stringers (2,3,20,20',26,26') which are connected by means of transversely or horizontally running rungs (5,5',21).
