[origin: EP0534481A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for severing, slitting, perforating or scoring sheets of such material as paper, metal film or plastic film, especially of label material situated on a backing material which must not be damaged, by means of a cutting disc (6) which is to be clamped in a releasable and coaxial manner between a support disc (2) and a pressure disc (4) and the outside diameter (D6) of which is somewhat larger than the outside diameter of the support disc (D2) and the pressure disc (D4), characterised in that the cutting disc (6) is so thin that the cutting and/or perforating operation is to be carried out using its circumferential surface (8). <IMAGE>
