[origin: EP0534792A1] A towel cabinet comprises a housing (10). A length of towel leaves the housing (10) through a slot (41) and reenters through a pivotable sleeve (40). In a first position A the pivotable sleeve (40) is adjacent to the slot (41), and a negligible amount of towel is exposed. To use the cabinet the user pulls the sleeve (40) downwards B to dispense a loop of towel in a position readily accessible for use. After a predetermined period of time the loop is withdrawn back into the housing (10).
