Self-locking double-action hydraulic actuator, with a rod (2) and a piston (3) which is immobilised in a cylinder (4), characterised in that its piston (3) is tightly mounted in an external cylinder (4) and freed to move with respect to this cylinder (4) by an expansion of this cylinder in the region of the piston brought about by the pressure of a fluid, the piston being actuated by a driving fluid. The rod (2) of the actuator comprises, according to one variant, a hydromechanical device for actuation by pivoting (31) at its rear end. This invention is of interest to constructors and manufacturers of hydromechanical equipment. <IMAGE>

Vérin hydraulique autobloquant à double effet, à tige (2) et à piston (3) immobilisé dans un cylindre (4) caractérisé en ce que son piston (3) est monté serré dans un cylindre extérieur (4) et libéré en mouvements par rapport à ce cylindre (4) par une dilatation de ce cylindre au droit du piston apportée par la pression d'un fluide, le piston étant actionné par un fluide moteur. La tige (2) du vérin comporte, selon une variante, un dispositif hydromécanique d'actionnement en pivotement (31) à son extrémité arrière. Cette invention intéresse les constructeurs et fabricants de matériel d'hydromécanique. <IMAGE>
