[origin: WO9218915A1] Proposed is a method of manufacturing, from a throw-away metal container, a case suitable for timepiece. The used container is reshaped longitudinally and, if necessary, also radially. A cavity capable of accommodating the mechanism is also produced by reshaping. The case described is inexpensive to manufacture since it does not require the processing of any new raw materials.

Il est proposé un procédé pour la fabrication d'un boîtier pour mouvement d'horlogerie à partie d'un récipient métallique jetable. A cet effet, le récipient usagé est déformé dans son axe longitudinal et, le cas échéant, radialement. Un évidement pour l'insertion du mouvement d'horlogerie est également prévu par déformation. Le boîtier décrit est de fabrication économique, car il ne nécessite pas besoin du traitement de nouvelles matières premières.
