The invention relates to a boiler for burning liquid or gaseous fuels, consisting of a water-conducting housing, in which a combustion chamber (3) equipped with a burner (2) is arranged, from which a number of waste gas flues (4) lead to the waste gas collecting chamber (5), in which flues waste gas displacement bodies (6) are arranged, of which the displacement body (6) in at least one of the waste gas flues (4) is designed as waste gas return pipe (20) which discharges openly towards the waste gas collecting chamber and the other end (8) of which is connected to a connection opening of the combustion chamber closure (10), which is provided with a heat insulation body (19), and from there is connected to the burner (2). According to the invention, it is envisaged that the connection opening, which is designed as an intervention opening (9), is dimensioned larger in cross-section than the waste gas return pipe (20), and that there is arranged in the intervention opening (9) an axially and elastically displaceable sealing ring (21) which is guided on the wall of the intervention opening (9) and which in the closed position of the combustion chamber closure (10) bears against the end (8) of the waste gas return pipe (20). As a result, there are no problems on opening and closing the combustion chamber closure (10) and a constant seal is guaranteed between the waste gas return pipe (20) and the combustion chamber closure (10) or the intervention opening (9). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Heizkessel zum Verbrennen flüssiger oder gasförmiger Brennstoffe, bestehend aus einem wasserführenden Gehäuse, in dem ein mit einem Brenner (2) bestückter Feuerraum (3) angeordnet ist, von dem mehrere Abgaszugrohre (4) zur Abgassammelkammer (5) führen, in denen Abgasverdrängerkörper (6) angeordnet sind, von denen mindestens in einem der Abgaszugrohre (4) der Verdrängerkörper (6) als Abgasrückführrohr (20) ausgebildet ist, das offen zur Abgassammelkammer hin ausmündet und dessen anderes Ende (8) an eine Anschlußöffnung des mit einem Wärmeisolationskörper (19) versehenen Feuerraumverschlusses (10) angeschlossen und von da aus mit dem Brenner (2) verbunden ist. Nach der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß die als Eingriffsöffnung (9) ausgebildete Anschlußöffnung im Querschnitt größer bemessen ist als das Abgasrückführrohr (20), und daß in der Eingriffsöffnung (9) ein axial und elastisch verstellbarer Dichtungsring (21) angeordnet ist, der an der Wand der Eingriffsöffnung (9) geführt ist und der in Schließstellung des Feuerraumverschlusses (10) am Ende (8) des Abgasrückführrohres (20) anliegt. Dadurch ergeben sich keine Probleme beim Öffnen und Schließen des Feuerraumverschlusses (10), und es ist eine ständige Dichtung zwischen dem Abgasrückführrohr (20) und dem Feuerraumverschluß (10) bzw. der Eingriffsöffnung (9) gewährleistet. <IMAGE>
