The present invention relates to a work lighting fixture (10) with at least one fluorescent lamp which can be suspended at a distance from the ceiling above the workplace, with which fixture at least a part of the light emerges at the top of the lighting fixture and in which light emerges from two fixture portions which are spaced from one another in the longitudinal direction of the housing. The fixture is, according to the invention, characterised in that the emergence of direct light takes place exclusively towards the top of the fixture and a glass reflector (11) is disposed at a spacing above the housing (12, 13) of the fixture, by means of which reflector a part of the light flux emerging in an upward direction from the fixture is reflected downwards in a direction towards the workplace (28). With the work lighting fixture according to the invention, a glare-free illumination of the workplace or workplaces is achieved, good shading characteristics and good contrast levels being attained at the same time. <IMAGE>

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Arbeitsplatzleuchte (10) mit mindestens einer Leuchtstofflampe, die mit Abstand von der Raumdecke über dem Arbeitsplatz aufhängbar ist, bei der wenigstens ein Teil des Lichts an der Oberseite der Leuchte austritt und bei der Licht aus zwei voneinander in Längsrichtung des Gehäuses distanzierten Leuchtenabschnitten austritt, die erfindungsgemäß dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß der Austritt direkten Lichts ausschließlich zur Oberseite der Leuchte hin erfolgt und mit Abstand über dem Leuchtengehäuse (12, 13) ein Glasreflektor (11) angeordnet ist, mittels dessen ein Teil des nach oben hin aus der Leuchte austretenden Lichtstroms nach unten in Richtung auf den Arbeitsplatz (28) reflektiert wird. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Arbeitsplatzleuchte wird eine blendfreie Ausleuchtung des oder der Arbeitsplätze erreicht, wobei gleichzeitig eine gute Schattigkeit und gute Kontraste erzeugt werden. <IMAGE>
