Abstract (en)
The acoustic signals are amplified by transformation of signals which are not audible to the hard of hearing into the audible range in such a manner that the apparent loudness during the listening is equal in persons with normal hearing and in persons who are hard of hearing. The device contains an analysis section with a stage (5) for loudness estimation, with a stage (10) for individual adaptation to a person hard of hearing and with a stage (11) for determining the gain factors (G1...n). <IMAGE>

Die Verst{rkung der akustischen Signale erfolgt durch Transformation von f}r den Hωrbehinderten nicht hωrbaren Signalen in den hωrbaren Bereich, und zwar auf eine solche Weise, dass die beim Hωren empfundene Lautheit bei normalhωrenden und bei hωrbehinderten Personen gleich ist. Die Vorrichtung enth{lt einen Analyseteil mit einer Stufe (5) zur Lautheitssch{tzung, mit einer Stufe (10) zur individuellen Anpassung an eine hωrbehinderte Person und mit einer Stufe (11) zur Bestimmung der Verst{rkungsfaktoren (G1...n). <IMAGE>
