Abstract (en)
In particular for the construction of fairs and exhibitions, a wall comprising a plurality of panels (1, 2) which are connected to one another in a detachable manner at adjacent end faces via coupling elements is proposed, which coupling elements permit, at least about part of the end faces running in the vertical direction, continuous swivelling about an axis (3) which runs parallel to said end face. The coupling elements run perpendicularly with respect to the swivel axis (3) and are fastened, at the edges in the direction of the swivel axis (3), on each of the two panels (1, 2) so that they bear flatly thereon, with the result that the coupling element constitutes a spacer along that end face of the panel (1, 2) which runs perpendicularly with respect to the swivel axis (3). The coupling element is a hinge (5), the two legs (6, 7) of which can move about an axis defining the swivel axis (3) of the panels (1, 2) and are fixed detachably, but rigidly, on the edge (4) of the panels (1, 2) by fastening means. <IMAGE>

Insbesondere für den Messe- und Ausstellungsbau wird eine Wand aus mehreren lösbar miteinander verbundenen Platten (1, 2), die an benachbarten Stirnseiten über Kupplungselemente miteinander verbunden sind, vorgeschlagen, die zumindest um einen Teil der in vertikaler Richtung verlaufenden Stirnseiten eine stufenlose Verschwenkung um eine parallel zu dieser Stirnseite verlaufende Achse (3) zulassen, wobei die Kupplungselemente senkrecht zur Schwenkachse (3) verlaufen und randseitig in Richtung der Schwenkachse (3) an jeder der beiden Platten (1, 2) flächig anliegend befestigt sind, so daß das Kupplungselement entlang der senkrecht zur Schwenkachse (3) verlaufende Stirnseite der Platte (1, 2) einen Abstandshalter darstellt, wobei das Kupplungselement ein Scharnier (5) ist, dessen beide Schenkel (6, 7) um eine die Schwenkachse (3) der Platten (1, 2) definierende Achse bewegbar sind, sowie über Befestigungsmittel lösbar, jedoch starr am Rand (4) der Platten (1, 2) fixiert sind. <IMAGE>
