[origin: EP0535767A1] The invention relates to a rolling train for rolling section beams, comprising at least one two-high reversing roughing stand (1) and a plurality of subsequent universal stands (3,4) for work-rolling and finish-rolling, two universal stands and an edger (5) being grouped together to form a reversing tandem group (2). In order to create a rolling train for rolling section beams and a method for rolling these section beams by means of which high-quality section beams with accurate dimensions can be produced with a relatively low level of investment, it is proposed that a sizing universal stand (6) be arranged immediately adjoining the tandem group (2), the reversible universal stands (3,4) of the tandem group (2) being provided with double-taper vertical rolls and the sizing universal stand (6) provided for through-feed rolling having cylindrical vertical rolls. <IMAGE>
