[origin: WO9219468A1] An automatic hazard warning signal transmission device for mounting on board a motor vehicle (1) and transmitting a reliable signal, which is easily distinguished from other commonly used signals, to drivers located behind said vehicle when a hazard or incident arises ahead of it. A sharp deceleration of the vehicle is automatically detected and a warning signal is transmitted by means of a flashing signal at the back of the vehicle so that following drivers, e.g. driving in single file, are made aware of the hazard and can react before it is too late.

Le dispositif de transmission automatique d'indication de danger potentiel selon l'invention, monté sur un véhicule automobile (1), transmet une information fiable et facilement discernable des autres signaux habituels aux conducteurs suivants en cas de danger ou d'incident survenant en avant dudit véhicule. Une forte décélération du véhicule est automatiquement détectée et un signal d'avertissement est transmis sous forme d'un signal clignotant à l'arrière du véhicule, afin que les automobilistes suivants, circulant par exemple en colonne, soient avisés du danger et puissent réagir à temps.
