Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH05195988A] PURPOSE: To provide circumferential shroud plates that can guarantee smooth guidance of a main flow without separation and achieve a good sealing action in addition to a good sealing action. CONSTITUTION: In a device for sealing a gap between rotor blades 6 and a casing 2 of a turbomachine, the rotor blades 6 are provided with ring-shaped circumferential shroud plates 11 which seal by a plurality of serrations 12-15 against the casing 2 with the formation of radial gaps 16-18, and the casing 2 is configured with a conical profile 28. Further, the shroud plate 11, which is arranged at the end of the blade, has four throttle locations relative to the casing, and the inlet end throttle location forms a diagonal gap 19 in a stationary operation state.
