In a dishwasher, whose washing container (10) is connected via an aperture to an outside condensation chamber (12), further improvement of the drying operation is achieved in that the U-shaped condensation chamber (12) runs above the top (10a) of the washing container (10), in that its two limbs (12a, b) are inclined to the top (10a), and in that the region of curvature is connected to an outlet aperture (12e) via which the condensation occurring can flow back into the washing container (10). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Geschirrspülmaschine, deren Spülbehälter (10) über eine Öffnung mit einer außenliegenden Kondensationskammer (12) verbunden ist, wird eine weitere Verbesserung des Trocknungsvorganges dadurch erreicht, daß die U-förmige Kondensationskammer (12) oberhalb des Decke (10a) des Spülbehälters (10) verläuft, daß ihre beiden Schenkel (12a, b) zur Decke (12a) geneigt sind und daß der Krümmungsbereich mit einer Ablauföffnung (12e)verbunden ist, über die anfallendes Kondensat in den Spülbehälter (10) zurücklaufen kann. <IMAGE>
