[origin: EP0536708A2] An electrical connector (10) is disclosed for mounting in an aperture in a panel or the like and includes a housing (12). A yieldable anti-vibration arm (24) projects from the housing (12) for engaging the panel when the connector is mounted in the aperture in the panel to prevent vibration between the connector and the panel. A recess (38) is formed in the anti-vibration arm (24) at a location to relieve stress in the arm during yielding thereof. <IMAGE>
