[origin: EP0537038A1] Tension clamp (21) for straightening out deformed car-body parts, intended for interacting with a chain (2) formed by links (2A, 2B, etc) of known dimensions, including two C-shaped jaws (22A, 22B) coupled to each other on either side of a facing (junction) plane (P) by retaining bolts (23, 24) so that the concavities of these jaws face each other, each jaw including a first end (25) having an edge (25A) equipped with clamping teeth and a second end (26) which is inclined in relation to the facing (junction) plane, characterised in that the jaws present, facing the plates (31) which are arranged between the first and second ends, separated by a distance substantially equal to the thickness of a link (2B) of the chain and in which first facing notches are made which include parallel end-face portions (32A) and inclined end-face portions (32B) converging on each other from the parallel end-face portions, these notches together forming a housing for a terminal link (2A) of the chain, a tensile force on the chain inducing a wedging effect between this terminal link and the inclined end-face portions. <IMAGE>
