[origin: EP0537042A1] Pillow made up of two parts, one of which is an interchangeable element which allows individual adaptability by a specific support of the occipito-cervical area of the user. The actual pillow consists of two square or rectangular juxtaposed compartments, accepting the various conventional materials (natural or synthetic); they have the same size but a different density; the interchangeable elastic element of cylindrical shape which forms the contact and the support for the neck is inserted between these two compartments. It is placed and fastened in the front and transverse part of the pillow. The pillow can be adjusted by the user by virtue of the choice of cylinders available (in diameter and density); in order to refine this adjustment, the user can then choose from one of the two possible supporting faces (more dense or less dense). Regardless of which face is chosen, the prepositioned cylinder always fits the cervical contact surface; this arrangement makes it possible to use the weight of the head in order to truly ''mould'' the neck of the user on the cylinder.
