Package for transportation, especially of infectious substances, and of the type comprising a box (1) of general parallelepipedal shape, an isothermal lining intended to be housed in the box and to be filled with coolant, the said lining being formed by two half-shells (3, 4) intended to contain at least one receptacle (25) containing the infectious substance to be transported, each half-shell having four side walls and a bottom, characterised in that it comprises a sleeve (20) inserted between the half-shells (3, 4), the said sleeve (20) having a height such that it extends as far as the region of the bottoms (5, 19) of the said two half-shells (3, 4) and being made of an isothermal material, the inner surface of the said sleeve being reflective. <IMAGE>

Emballage pour le transport plus particulièrement de substances infectieuses et du type comprenant une caisse (1) de forme générale parallélépipédique, une doublure isotherme destinée à être logée dans la caisse et à être remplie d'un réfrigérant, ladite doublure étant formée de deux demi-coquilles (3,4) destinées à contenir, au moins, un récipient (25) contenant la substance infectieuse à transporter, chaque demi-coquille présentant quatre parois latérales et un fond caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un manchon (20) s'insérant entre les demi-coquilles (3,4), ledit manchon (20) ayant une hauteur telle qu'il s'étend jusqu'au voisinage des fonds (5,19) desdites deux demi-coquilles (3,4) et étant réalisé en un matériau isotherme, la surface interne dudit manchon étant réfléchissante. <IMAGE>
