[origin: EP0537109A2] A bag package for contents which can be heated by microwave treatment, comprises a shell part and, if appropriate, a bottom part made of flexible plastic film (1, 21), the front and rear side of the shell part and the possibly present bottom part being connected to one another by sealing seams (12, 13; 32, 33) so as to be resistant to separation, the shell part being formed by a plastic film which on the inside contains a tear-off layer, and the bag package having in the region of the upper closure of the shell part a removal aperture which is closed by a bag top seam (14, 34), and the bag having an automatic overpressure relief (6, 35) in the region of the upper closure. <IMAGE>
