[origin: EP0537420A1] In a lighting device for domestic appliances including microwave appliances, by means of an electric lamp with reflector which is inserted in a housing, according to the invention the reflector (2) is loosely inserted into a depression (3) in the wall (4) of the housing and held without being fastened by a clipped-in cover glass (5). The covering of expensive lamps can be eliminated by the invention. Also, there is no longer a need for a separate earth conductor connection to the lamp housing.
