Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0537531A1] Door lock with two lock-follower parts, mounted in a pivotably adjustable manner in the lock case (1), for the mutually independent inner and outer actuation of a locking member to be introduced into the lock case (1), in particular via an angle lever (8) mounted coaxially to the lock-follower parts, especially of a pivoting bolt (3) drive-connected to an espagnolette bolt (6) to be retained in the introduced position counter to a spring effect by a switching latch arranged at the top of the door, there being provided between the outer part of the follower and the angle lever (8) a coupling element (23a) engagable via a key-actuable or electrically actuable coupling slide (9). To improve and perfect a door lock of the above generic type, to the effect that it allows more diverse possibilities of use or employment and actuations, and especially, along with the simple design, is also basically suitable for selective left-hand and right-hand installation in doors, it is so designed that there is also provided between the inner part of the follower and the angle lever (8) a coupling element which is to be brought into the engaged position either permanently or, as with the other coupling element (23a), by means of a further key-actuable or electrically actuable coupling slide. <IMAGE>
