[origin: EP0537566A2] A spark-plug connector (1) is described which has a connector part (3) whose axis A is arranged in the axial extension of a spark plug, and has a cable connecting part (2) which leads away at the upper end of the connector part (3), and which connector is composed of a metallic contact part (4) and an elastomeric shoe (5) which sheaths this contact part (4), a radial, first projection (9) being integrally formed on the shoe (5). In order that this spark plug connector (1) can easily be plugged onto a spark plug and can be removed from a spark plug, with a reduced risk of injury, a circumferential second projection (12) is integrally formed underneath the first projection (9), so that a groove (15) which is at least of finger width is formed between the projections (9, 12). <IMAGE>
