Roughened, anodised and hydrophilised planographic printing plates which are provided with a radiation-sensitive coating, are exposed and are developed in an aqueous alkaline solution are, after the hydrophilisation, treated with a salt solution of a divalent or polyvalent cation in a concentration of at least 0.02 mol/l. <??>The printing plate is provided with a positive-or negative-working, radiation-sensitive coating.

Aufgerauhte, eloxierte und hydrophilierte Flachdruckplatten, die strahlungsempfindlich beschichtet, belichtet und in einer wäßrig-alkalischen Lösung entwickelt werden, erhalten nach der Hydrophilierung eine Behandlung mit einer Salzlösung eines zwei- oder mehrwertigen Kations in einer Konzentration von mindestens 0,02 mol/l. Die Druckplatte ist mit einer positiv oder negativ arbeitenden strahlungsempfindlichen Beschichtung versehen.
