[origin: EP0537659A1] A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material includes at least one of each of blue-, green-, and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers. At least one silver halide emulsion layer contains tabular silver halide grains, each having a thickness of less than 0.5 <0>m, a diameter of 0.3 <0>m or more, and a diameter/thickness ratio of 2 or more. The tabular silver halide grains occupy at least 50% of the total projected area of all silver halide grains contained in the silver halide emulsion layer. At least 50% in number of the tabular grains have 10 or more dislocations each.
