[origin: EP0537661A1] A strip-type luggage tag (1) comprises a tag part (3), to which an inscription can be applied and which can be attached to a piece of luggage, and a check section (4). The check section (4) comprises a tear-off part (5), which can be detached from the tag part (3) along a transversely running parting line (6). Both the tag part (3) and the tear-off part (5) have on the rear side on both sides of the parting line (6) in each case an adhesive zone (11', 11''), coated with a contact adhesive. The adhesive zones (11', 11'') are covered by a one-part sheet section (14), which is designed like pressure-sensitive paper on its upper side (16) and as releasable (17) throughout apart from a subregion (18) underneath the adhesive zone (11''). This subregion (18), made unreleasable for example by corona treatment, forms a bonding bridge as a firm connection between the sheet section (14) and the tear-off part (5), the two of which can together be stuck into a flight ticket after exposing part of the adhesive zone (11'') as check section (4) for identification of a piece of luggage. <IMAGE>
