Abstract (en)
A bellows for the connection of vehicles which are connected to one another in an articulated fashion has sections 2 which are open towards the same side in a groove shape. A common reinforcement profile 1 engages around adjacent groove edges. The common reinforcement profile 1 additionally clamps in a planar reinforcement rib 4 which is arranged in a peripheral fashion between the groove edges. The reinforcement rib 4 increases the dimensional stability of the bellows without adversely affecting its flexibility. <IMAGE>

Ein Faltenbalg zur Verbindung gelenkig miteinander verbundener Fahrzeuge besitzt zur gleichen Seite hin offene Abschnitte 2 in Rinnenform. Benachbarte Rinnenränder sind von einem gemeinsamen Verstärkungsprofil 1 umgriffen. Das gemeinsame Verstärkungsprofil 1 klemmt zusätzlich eine zwischen den Rinnenrändern umlaufend angeordnete ebene Verstärkungsrippe 4 ein. Die Verstärkungsrippe 4 steigert die Formstabilität des Faltenbalgs, ohne dessen Flexibilität zu beeinträchtigen. <IMAGE>
