[origin: EP0537727A1] A connecting device which comprises two connecting means is proposed for a composite formwork in order to connect or fix panels and/or reinforcements at a distance from one another. In this arrangement, at least the first (2) of these connecting means has an undercut (8) and at least the second of these connecting means has a retaining means interacting with the undercut. At least one of the two connecting means can be fixed with respect to a panel. The undercut and/or the retaining means have/has at least one spring element or are/is designed to be at least partially resilient.
