Abstract (en)
A free-standing shelving system of the type comprising four uprights which support a plurality of rectangular shelves. The invention relates to the attachment of the shelves at each corner to one of the uprights. Attached at each corner of each shelf 5 is a corner piece 49 equipped with pegs 27,28. These pegs engage in corresponding keyhole-shaped holes 11 in the upright 4 to thereby securely clamp the shelf to the upright. <IMAGE>
