A current-conducting roller comprising a middle part forming the active main part (210) of the roller and two journals (220) extending the middle part, at each of the ends of the latter respectively, each of the journals (220) comprising a steel body (240) provided with an internal copper liner (250), itself provided with an internal protective sheath (260), characterised in that the internal copper liner (250) is placed in a blind bore (246) of the steel body (240) and that a compressible seal (270) is provided, inserted between the bottom (247) of the blind bore (246) and the corresponding end of the internal copper liner (250). <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un rouleau conducteur de courant comprenant une partie centrale constituant la partie principale (210) active du rouleau et deux tourillons (220) prolongeant la partie centrale, respectivement à chacune des extrémités de celle-ci, chacun des tourillons (220) comprenant un corps en acier (240) muni d'une frette interne en cuivre (250) pourvue elle-même d'un fourreau (260) de protection interne, caractérisé par le fait que la frette interne en cuivre (250) est placée dans un alésage borgne (246) du corps en acier (240) et qu'il est prévu un joint compressible (270) intercalé entre le fond (247) de l'alésage borgne (246) et l'extrémité correspondante de la frette interne en cuivre (250). <IMAGE>
