Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0538123A1] The invention relates to pumping with an adjustable delivery by means of a suction/delivery diaphragm (2) driven in a reciprocating movement: the abovementioned diaphragm (2) is coupled releasably by a connecting rod (5) to an eccentric rotating member (6) rotating continuously, during each reciprocating cycle adjustable stop means (16-21) are used to block the reciprocating movement of the connecting rod (5) when the latter has covered a continuously-adjustable desired fraction of its stroke, and the eccentric rotary member (6) is uncoupled from the blocked connecting rod (5) by virtue of means (11-15), by virtue of which the connecting rod gives the membrane a reciprocating movement of continuously adjustable amplitude between a zero value and a maximum value respectively corresponding to the neutral points of the stroke of the connecting rod, and the delivery is continuously adjusted between a zero value and a maximum value. <IMAGE>
