[origin: EP0538155A1] The trip device comprises a fixed core (20) adapted for mounting on a yoke (5), a moving core (24) capable of travelling between a position removed from the fixed core and a position brought close to the fixed core, and a trip rod (22) linked to the moving core and extending through a bore (21) in the fixed core. Its method of manufacture consists in producing the trip rod (22) by simultaneous moulding-in inside the fixed core (20) and inside the moving core (24) and in carrying out a debonding operation between the fixed core and the trip rod so as finally to detach the fixed core. <IMAGE>
