[origin: EP0538237A1] Drive for double drum, in particular for a cable conveyor system, having at least one motor. In order to achieve a high degree of efficiency with such a drive, there is provision for two power divider transmissions (50, 70) , which are connected to one another and each have at least two outputs (26, 44; 17, 20, 100), to be connected downstream of the motor (1), one output (20, 100) of the power divider transmission (50) which is nearest to the motor (1) being capable of being coupled to one or other output (26, 44), in a drive-connection with in each case one drum (42, 43), of the second power divider transmission (70). <IMAGE>
