The invention relates to the spreading, in terms of the longitudinal axis, of cigarettes which are coaxially adjacent to each other in pairs in two rows. <??>The object of the invention is to simplify such a spreading apparatus and to design it to be operationally reliable at high conveying speeds. <??>This is achieved by means of a parallel-disc drive (1) consisting of two drive discs (18, 19), the axes (20, 21) of rotation of the said drive extending in an inclined manner relative to the axes (2, 7, 9) of rotation of the conveyor drums (3; 8; 10) which convey the continuous and spread row (4, 5) of cigarettes inwards and outwards, the first drive disc (19) being centrally driven and the second drive disc (18) being driven by the first drive disc (19) by means of rotationally mounted drive pins (25) which are retained parallel to each other and to the axes of the conveyor drums, and which receive trough supports (26) for cigarette retaining troughs (11). <??>This design produces a low-wear, vibration-free operation and a space-saving construction. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft das längsaxiale Spreizen von in zwei Reihen paarweise koaxial zueinander benachbarten Zigaretten. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine derartige Spreizvorrichtung zu vereinfachen und für hohe Fördergeschwindigkeiten funktionssicher zu gestalten. Dies wird erreicht durch einen aus zwei parallelen Antriebsscheiben (18, 19) bestehenden Parallelscheibentrieb (1) dessen Drehachsen (20, 21) geneigt zu den Drehachsen (2, 7, 9) der die durchlaufende und gespreizte Zigarettenreihe (4, 5) zu- und abfördernden Fördertrommeln (3; 8; 10) verlaufen, wobei die erste Antriebsscheibe (19) zentral und die zweite Antriebsscheibe (18) durch die erste Antriebsscheibe (19) mittels drehgelagerten, parallel zueinander sowie zu den Achsen der Fördertrommeln gehaltenen Antriebszapfen (25) angetrieben wird, welche Muldenträger (26) für Zigaretten-Haltemulden (11) aufnehmen. Diese Ausbildung ergibt einen verschleißarmen, schwingungsfreien Betrieb und eine platzsparende Bauweise. <IMAGE>
