[origin: EP0539692A1] A dustpan comprises a basic body, formed from a sheet-metal blank, with a bottom plate, side walls and a rear wall as well as a handle which passes through passages at least in the rear wall, the basic body being constructed as an embossed part and the side walls tapering towards one another against the rear wall. The rear wall consists of a narrow foot web (2) and extension sections (4) of the side walls (3) which abut one another in a T-slot (5), and the handle (6) engages in passages (11) in the extension sections (4). <IMAGE>
