[origin: EP0540439A1] Evaporation humidifier of the type comprising electrodes (58, 59) immersed in a tank of water (5). <??>It comprises an upper part (10) constituted by a casing (3) closed by a cover (2), a lower part (11) constituted by a casing (6) placed on a base (7), the casings (3) and (6) being identical and arranged symmetrically in relation to a horizontal plane and being assembled on a profiled piece (4) made of aluminium roughly in the shape of a U, the branches of which form a space (40) for the tank (5), the casing (3) comprising a compartment (36) which is supplied with water and comprising on the one hand an orifice (37) for discharge of the water vapour and on the other hand an orifice (35) which fits the filling orifice (54) arranged on the upper face of the tank (5) which also comprises, on one of its lateral faces, below its central plane, an emptying orifice (55) prolonged towards the outside by a shaft (550) connected to an electric extraction valve (49) accommodated in a space (43) which extends the space (40). <IMAGE>
