[origin: EP0540844A2] The valve with several elements for ventilation or air conditioning systems has a frame with horizontal and vertical frame parts and with a number of slats (5) which are pivotable about their horizontal central line in the air opening of the frame and which are in engagement with one another via toothed wheels (9) and in the closed position touch sealingly at their facing slat edges. Each slat (5) is arranged between a toothed wheel (9) mounted rotatably on one vertical frame part (4) and a receiving disc (10) mounted rotatably on the other vertical frame part (3) and is supported by holding devices (13, 14) arranged on the toothed wheel (9) and on the receiving disc (10), which holding devices bear against both side surfaces of the slat (5). The slat (5) can be pulled out of the holding devices (13, 14) in the direction of its slat plane, the holding devices (13, 14) and the slat (5) being provided with a detachable locking device (15, 16, 17) which secures the slat against being pulled out of the holding devices. <IMAGE>
