[origin: DE4237606A1] A transport container is so designed that it can be adapted to provide living accommodation. The container has rectangular holes cut in its walls in which frames for windows or doors can be fitted.The frames are made from hollow aluminium sections which are shaped to provide mitred corner joints and the horizontal (4) and vertical members of a frame are held together by corner elements (20) which fit inside the hollow sections. The hollow sections forming the inner frames are connected to the sections forming the outer frames by joint elements (9) made from plastics.
