Abstract (en)
A water storage tank (12) in the coolant water loop of a nuclear reactor (3) contains a tubular heat exchanger (15). The heat exchanger (15) has tubesheets (50, 52) mounted to the tank connections (46, 48) so that the tubesheets (50, 52) and tubes (114) may be readily inspected and repaired. Preferably, the tubes (114) extend from the tubesheets (50, 52) on a square pitch and then on a rectangular pitch therebetween. <IMAGE>
