The technical sector of the present invention is that of cargo shells ejecting a submunition on a trajectory. <??>The cargo shell (1) according to the invention is intended for transporting a submunition (8a, 8b, 8c), and it consists of a body (2) closed at one of its ends by a base (4) and at the other by a nose (5), within which is arranged a pyrotechnic composition (7) generating gases intended for acting on a piston (9) at the moment of ejection of the submunition, this shell being characterised in that it comprises means making a connection between the piston (9) and the shell (1) after the ejection of the submunition (8a, 8b, 8c). <??>The invention is used for mine-dispersing cargo shells. <IMAGE>

Le secteur technique de la présente invention est celui des obus cargos éjectant une charge utile sur trajectoire. L'obus cargo (1) selon l'invention est destiné à transporter une charge utile (8a, 8b, 8c), il est constitué par un corps (2) fermé à une de ses extrémités par un culot (4) et à l'autre par une ogive (5) à l'intérieur de laquelle est disposée une composition pyrotechnique (7) génératrice de gaz destinés à venir agir sur un piston (9) au moment de l'éjection de la charge, cet obus est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens assurant une liaison entre le piston (9) et l'obus (1) après l'éjection de la charge utile (8a, 8b, 8c). Application aux obus cargos disperseurs de mines. <IMAGE>
