Container with walls (3, 5, 7, 9) provided with vertical columns (11a, 11b... 11h) and complementary housings (13b, 13c, 13g) allowing the stacking of two containers, bearing against each other, identically oriented, and nesting in each other for successively reverse-oriented positions. According to the invention, the container has, on two opposite side walls (7, 9), on the one hand lower vertical outer ribs (25, 27) for transverse blocking, and, on the other hand, upper inner notches (29, 31) which can receive the said ribs (25, 27), in the reverse-oriented relative position of two superposed containers. Application to boxes for growing young shoots. <IMAGE>

Caisse à parois (3, 5, 7, 9) pourvues de piliers verticaux (11a, 11b... 11h) et de logements complémentaires (13b, 13c, 13g) permettant l'empilement en appui les unes sur les autres de deux caisses identiquement orientées et leur emboîtement l'une dans l'autre pour des positions successives inversement orientées. Selon l'invention, la caisse présente sur deux parois latérales opposées (7, 9), d'un côté des nervures extérieures inférieures verticales (25, 27) de blocage transversal et, de l'autre, des encoches intérieures supérieures (29, 31) propres à recevoir lesdites nervures (25, 27) en position relative inversement orientée de deux caisses superposées. Application aux bacs pour la croissance de jeunes pousses. <IMAGE>
