Abstract (en)
The jib sail roller-furling system according to the invention makes use of a tubular element (1) which is mounted rotatably about a cable (2) of the rigging of a boat and on which a sail (4) is wound which can be hoisted and trimmed by virtue of a swivel joint (16) which slides on the tubular element (1) and on which is fixed a halyard (20) which passes through a pulley (21) mounted at the head of the mast (14). It comprises hooking means which can be disconnected and allow the swivel joint (16) to come to be suspended, in trimmed position, on an anchoring piece (22) which is integral with the cable (2) and situated above the upper end of the tubular element (1). The invention makes it possible in particular to reduce the stresses exerted on the mast and on the tube of the roller. <IMAGE>

L'enrouleur-réducteur de voilure selon l'invention fait intervenir un élément tubulaire (1) monté rotatif autour d'un câble (2) du gréement d'un bateau et sur lequel vient s'enrouler une voile (4) qui peut être envoyée et étarquée grâce à un émerillon (16) coulissant sur l'élément tubulaire (1) et sur lequel est fixée une drisse (20) passant par une poulie (21) montée en tête du mât (14). Il comprend des moyens d'accrochage déconnectables permettant à l'émerillon (16) de venir se suspendre, en position étarquée, sur une pièce d'ancrage (22) solidaire du câble (2) et située au-dessus de l'extrémité supérieure de l'élément tubulaire (1). L'invention permet notamment de réduire les contraintes exercées sur le mât et sur le tube de l'enrouleur. <IMAGE>
