The invention relates to a knife sheath (knife-carrier case) intended to be carried hung from the belt C. Such a case is composed of two compartments, a male compartment (20) and a female compartment (10), which can be nested in each other, the first (20) of which is movable, arrow A, with respect to the second (10) and acts as a cover (sheath) for the abovementioned knife, and the second (20) of which is fixed and associated, hung from the abovementioned belt C, in such a manner that the male compartment (20) can move with respect to the female compartment (10) between a first nested, so-called closed, position and a second unnested, so-called open, position and vice versa. The abovementioned female compartment (10) has an oblong shape and is held parallel to the said belt C so as to be carried hung in the horizontal position. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un étui porte-couteau destiné à être porté suspendu à la ceinture C. Un tel étui se compose de deux compartiments mâle (20) et femelle (10) emboîtables l'un dans l'autre, dont le premier (20) est mobile flèche A par rapport au second (10) et fait office de fourreau au susdit couteau, et dont le deuxième (20) est fixe et associé suspendu à la susdite ceinture C, de telle sorte que le compartiment mâle (20) puisse évoluer par rapport au compartiment femelle (10) entre une première position emboîtée dite de fermeture et une deuxième position déboîtée dite d'ouverture, et vice-versa. Le susdit compartiment femelle (10) est de forme oblongue et est retenu parallèlement à ladite ceinture C, de manière à être porté suspendu en position horizontale. <IMAGE>
