Abstract (en)
Coins are checked by determining their mass. The coin is temporarily part of a mass/spring system, the oscillation characteristic of which depends on the mass of the coin. This fact can be used as a distinguishing criterion. A further weight-dependent check can be carried out in a simple fashion if a weighing table is arranged in the path of the coin in such a way that the said table is held by a system of springs, the deformation of which is independent of the position of the coin on the weighing table. <IMAGE>

Es erfolgt eine Prüfung von Münzen durch Bestimmung der Masse. Die Münze wird vorübergehend Teil eines Masse-Feder-Systems, dessen Schwingungscharakteristik von der Masse der Münze abhängt. Diese Tatsache kann als Unterscheidungskriterium herangezogen werden. Eine weitere gewichtsabhängige Prüfung kann auf einfache Weise vorgenommen werden, wenn ein Wiegetisch im Zuge der Münzlaufbahn angeordnet ist dergestalt, daß er von einem Federsystem gehalten wird, dessen Verformung von der Lage der Münze auf dem Wiegetisch unabhängig ist. <IMAGE>
