[origin: EP0542020A1] The subject of the invention is a closure installation for cabinets with drawers, having curved pieces (7) fitted on drawers (3). The closure installation has at least one closure rod (1, 2) which is arranged alongside the drawers (3), can be vertically displaced and has projecting pins (4) and stoppers which are assigned to the curved piece (7) and interact with the pins (4). The closure installation further has a retaining device for retaining the closure rod (1, 2) in its displaced position. An initially obliquely rising guide surface (14) is integrated in the curved piece (7). The object of the invention is to provide a closure installation for such cabinets with drawers which prevents simultaneous opening of any number of drawers, to be precise, using the smallest number of similar individual parts. In order to achieve this object, it is proposed that the curved pieces (7) be located at different distances from the closure rod (1, 2), the curved pieces (7) being arranged differently on each drawer (3). <IMAGE>
